Elizabeth Bennet decides the best way to avoid her persistent cousin is to go into hiding, at least for a few minutes. She is surprised when her hiding place is almost immediately invaded, but relieved when the intruder is not her cousin. This lighthearted variation on Pride and Prejudice explores the possibilities that could have resulted from a very different first encounter between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet.
